“I found the ACC level report to be enlightening and immediately useful. It’s helping me rehearse the language I need around the exam and ICF standards. I already told a fellow credential student about it.”

“The Credential Prep experience gave me not only practical support, but also the confidence and mindset shift I needed on my journey.”
I'm in the MCC process right now. I built this instead of buying another $400 course.
When I started the MCC credentialing process, I needed a way to practice the exam and get real session feedback without paying $400 for a prep course built on static PDFs. That tool didn't exist, so I built it. I have just as much at stake in this being excellent as you do.
Every question, competency breakdown, and evaluation framework was built from the ground up to reflect what the exam and credential process actually test. Not just what sounds right.
✓Rigorously developed practice questions

01 · Exam Practice
Practice both ICF exams. Every answer explained.
300 vetted questions. Exam Plan unlocks unlimited AI-generated questions.
You will try generic AI first. Here is the problem.
It sounds right. It references competency names. But it has no model for how a session works holistically: how patterns compound, how context shapes what a move means, what a trained assessor actually reads across a full session. That is not something you can prompt your way into.
Generic AI
CredentialPrep
Consistency
✕Changes its answer depending on how you phrase the question. Coaches end up looping between Claude and ChatGPT trying to figure out which one is right.
✓Fixed ICF marker criteria applied every time. C3.2 means one specific thing: did the client define the success measure, or did the coach direct it?
Holistic reading
✕Scores each marker independently. Has no model for how behaviors compound across a session or how context shapes what a move means.
✓Trained to read sessions as a whole. A single paraphrase reads differently than a pattern of paraphrasing. Context is part of the verdict.
Marker coherence
✕May tell you an answer demonstrates Evoke Awareness when it's actually Listens Actively. If you're building your mental model around wrong attributions, you've been studying the wrong thing.
✓Every marker is scored MET, NOT OBSERVED, or INCONSISTENT. What is praised and what is flagged cannot contradict each other.
Evidence standard
✕General impressions. No requirement that feedback be tied to a specific moment, the client's response, or what was actually said.
✓Every gap includes the full evidence window: what the client said before the missed moment, the coach's move, what the client said after. So you can see the impact.
Confidence score
✕No calibrated score. Qualitative summary with no reference point for where you stand relative to the credential bar.
✓A 1-10 score calibrated against real ICF assessor decisions, with the specific evidence driving it.
03 · AI Mentor
Drill the exact moments where you keep feeling shaky.
Pick a competency. Coach a live AI client. Get assessor-level feedback after every exchange.
✓
A client that actually pushes back: Won't let vague questions or advice slip by.
✓
One competency at a time: Stay focused on the skill you're drilling.
✓
Feedback after every exchange: What landed. What an assessor would flag.
✓
Keep going until it clicks: Reset and retry the same moment.
This is what coaches say when they try to get credentialed.

“I failed because I answered based on what I think is the best/worst. The exam is not asking what the competencies are. It's asking whether you can spot them in action.”

“It was hard to find information and help for the latest version of the Credentialing Exam. I struggled to pick the worst-est option sometimes.”

“You will be aware how little guidance and support there is for such a rigorous and difficult exam.”
Public statements from coaches about the ICF credentialing process. Last names abbreviated.
The credential process is hard. It doesn't have to be a mystery.
The exam and your session evaluations test specific, learnable behaviors. CredentialPrep is built to show you what those are, and let you practice them before it counts.

No. CredentialPrep is an independent study tool built from publicly available ICF Core Competency documentation. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the ICF or Pearson VUE.
How is this different from just using generic AI?
Generic AI doesn't know the ICF exam format, the situational judgment structure, or what assessors look for at each credential level. CredentialPrep is built specifically for this exam. Questions are calibrated to real exam style, and the transcript evaluation is grounded in ICF marker rubrics, not generic feedback.
Will this actually help me pass?
Coaches who use it consistently report the questions feel very close to the real exam. Complete subscribers who practice for three months come with a guarantee: if you don't pass your ACC or ICF Credentialing Exam, we refund you.
What is the pass guarantee?
Complete subscribers active for three consecutive months who don't pass their ACC or ICF Credentialing Exam can claim a full refund of $117 (3 x $39). Email credentialprepicf@gmail.com with subject line 'Guarantee Claim' and a screenshot of your results within 30 days of receiving them.
I'm already an experienced coach. Is this too basic?
This is actually built for experienced coaches. The credential process is notoriously frustrating for coaches who are excellent in the room but struggle to translate that into the exam format. This app helps you close that specific gap, not your coaching ability.
Is my coaching data private?
Transcripts are processed via Anthropic's API and not stored by CredentialPrep. Practice scores are saved locally in your browser only. We don't collect or sell your data. Remove client names before pasting any transcript.
